On the morning of October 6th, 2022 college students opening ceremony was held at Soochow University. The university leaders and representatives from 2022 freshmen attended the ceremony.

President Zhang Xiaohong sent a message to freshmen with the theme of “ Being a Soochow University Person in a dream world”. In his words, the university was a bridge to go through history and connect the future, a frontier highland to impart knowledge and open up new knowledge, and a smart town to lead the fashion and open development. In this vast world, students would cultivate a spiritual magnetic field inspiring life, pursue unlimited life opportunities, and start a new journey in the dream world.

Representatives from 2022 freshmen, 2022 postgraduates, undergraduates and teachers made speeches respectively.

At the ceremony, Secretary Jiang Yong and President Zhang Xiaohong presented the university emblem to the freshmen representatives and took a group photo with the students.

At the end of the opening ceremony, all the freshmen stood up and read out the admission oath. The opening ceremony was ended with the sonorous and powerful oath.
