On the evening of June 21th, the 2022graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony of Soochow University was held on the lawn of Enling Square of Dushu Lake Campus.

The ceremony was chaired by deputy secretary Wang Lupei.

Xiong Qiyang, the undergraduate representative and finance major from Business School, shared his growth experience during four years in Soochow University. Bao Shujin, PhD candidate from College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, expressed her heartfelt thanks to the hard-working teachers. Chen Yiqiang, the representative of Nigerian international students and the major of Chinese language and literature from School of Chinese Language and Literature, recalled his life in Soochow University in fluent Chinese.

On the occasion of leaving the university, Secretary Jiang Yong presented graduation souvenirs and graduation blessings to graduate representatives.

Professor Huang Jian’an from Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials spoke as a teacher representative. He hoped that the graduates who would embark on the new journey would continue to improve themselves from humanistic feelings, moral integrity, realistic behavior and science

President Xiong Sidong reviewed the colorful campus life with the students, and recounted warm moments in which students came to Soochow University with dreams, worked hard, harvested growth facing difficulties, gathered success, and experienced growth.
