Brief introduction of lecture content
Research on the Appellation of Relatives Based on the Comparison between China and Japan
The research and investigation of relative appellation, which started from anthropology, played a great role in revealing the primitive social family form and explaining the family relationship. The research on kinship terms has evolved from the "name" that describes the relationship between family members, to the "name" for family members and non-relative relationships, from anthropology to linguistics, to sociolinguistics and contrast linguistics. This lecture combines the author's research in recent years and discusses some recent concerns.
